Haeundae Beach – Busan, South Korea

Arguably the most famous beach in Busan, with Gwangalli Beach, Haeundae Beach stretches for about 1.5 kilometers and attracts millions of visitors each year.

It is easily accessible by public transportation, including buses and the subway: Haeundae Subway Station is a major transportation hub, serving as an interchange point for Line 2 (Green Line) and Line 3 (Donghae Line).

Haeundae beach features a long stretch of golden sand, making it an ideal spot for sunbathing and beach activities, including swimming, surfing, jet skiing, and beach volleyball.

SEALIFE Busan Aquarium is located just near Haeundae beach.

The beach is well-developed with many facilities: restrooms, showers, changing rooms, rental services for umbrellas and beach chairs. It is surrounded by a bustling area filled with hotels, resorts, restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops, catering to both tourists and locals

Throughout the year, Haeundae Beach hosts various events and festivals, including the Haeundae Sand Festival, which showcases huge and impressive sand sculptures.
