The Xiaomi 12S Ultra is the Chinese brand’s latest flagship phone, featuring an impressive spec sheet, which includes a WQHD+ TrueColor display and Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 top-end chipset for plenty of processing power. Special emphasis has been put on camera performance and design.
The 12S Ultra comes with a leatherette-style material on the back, mimicking the look and feel of a serious camera. The large Leica-badged camera hides a lens array that offers a 50MP 1-inch image sensor in the primary camera, 48MP resolution on the other camera modules, and a long tele lens with 120mm equivalent focal length. Users can also choose between two Leica image presets that offer either a more vibrant or more subdued color response and contrast curve.
