Tamron has announced the launch of a new 20-40mm F2.8 Di II VXD zoom lens for full-frame Sony E-mount cameras. This constant F2.8 zoom lens offers a unique focal length range and is constructed of 12 elements in 11 groups, including four LD (low dispersion) elements, two GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) elements and one Hybrid Aspherical element.
Nikon has announced the release of the Nikkor Z 17-28mm F2.8, a new wide-angle zoom lens for Nikon Z mirrorless camera systems. It seems to essentially be a ‘Nikonized’ version of Tamron’s 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD lens.
Cosina has announced that two more Voigtlander prime lenses are being made available for Nikon Z-mount cameras: a Nokton 40mm f/1.2 Aspherical and a Macro APO-Ultron D35mm f/2, which brings the total collection of officially licensed lenses to six optics.

Optics manufacturer TTArtisan has announced a fully-manual 25mm F2 lens for APS-C mirrorless camera mounts that costs just $55. The lens is constructed of seven elements in five groups and offers a roughly 38mm full-frame equivalent focal length (except on Micro Four Thirds where it’s a 50mm equiv).
Fujifilm has announced the release of its new 40.2MP X-H2 mirrorless camera system. As promised earlier this year, this new X-series camera features a high-resolution X-Trans sensor and Fujifilm’s latest image processor, the X-Processor 5, to make it the first APS-C camera to offer internal 8K/30 ProRes capture.
The new main camera is a three-lens array that delivers 48-megapixel images via the main camera. That sensor, which bears striking resemblance to Samsung’s GM2, also features a quad-pixel array and is overall 65 percent larger than iPhone 13 Pro. It is able to adapt to the photo being captured and features second-generation sensor-shift optical image stabilization.
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus feature a new 12MP Main camera featuring a larger sensor and larger pixels, a new front TrueDepth camera, the Ultra Wide camera to capture more of a scene, and Apple’s new “Photonic Engine” which the company claims is a giant leap in low-light camera performance.
ON1 has announced ON1 Photo RAW 2023. ON1 says the new version, which arrives next month, is ‘the most significant update in ON1 Photo RAW’s history.’ The software includes many new features, including AI-powered tools designed to make organizing and editing your photos faster and easier.
